Abstract

Area studi berada di pit Muara Tiga Besar, PT. Bukit Asam Tbk., dengan ruang lingkup dibatasi pada seam A1, A2, B, C1, dan C2. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah melihat hubungan antara data logging dengan komponen dari trace element. Metode yang diterapkan dengan optimasi data logging serta analisis geokimia batubara berupa uji Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP AES) dan metode analisis statistik. Hasil analisis log gamma ray menunjukkan volume shale dengan nilai rata-rata yaitu 0,3122. Analisis trace element merefer 21 unsur yaitu Be, Cd, Ni, V, Zn, Pb, Mn, Ba, B, Fe, Se, Ag, Co, Mo, As, Hg, Cu, Cr dan Cl, dan P. Korelasi antara trace element dan Vsh meliputi empat pola yaitu pola linear positif, linear negatif, nonlinear dan uncertain. Unsur yang memiliki hubungan korelasi yang kuat dengan variabel volume shale terdiri dari Fe, Cl, As, dan V. Unsur Ni, Co, Mo, Cu, P, Be, Cd dan Ag. Sementara unsur dengan hubungan korelasi cukup yaitu Cr, B dan Hg, sedangkan unsur Pb, Mn, Ba, Zn, Ni, Co, Mo, Cu, dan P memiliki hubungan korelasi rendah. Kata kunci : Batubara, Geokimia, Trace Element, Volume shale.
