Abstract
This research is a descriptive quantitative research with correlation, aims to determine the relationship between learning anxiety and academic procrastination in class VIII SMP Negeri 19 Palembang. The population in this study were 351 students and a sample of 78 students using random sampling technique. The subjects involved in the research were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 19 Palembang. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire using a scale Likert which was distributed through media online in the form of google form. Analysis of the data used is the correlation product moment. The results of the analysis obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.746 which indicates that learning anxiety with academic procrastination has a relationship with a strong relationship level at a significance level of 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between learning anxiety and academic procrastination in class VIII SMP Negeri 19 Palembang.
