Abstract

RICKY RENALDO. Analysis of Factors Affecting Farmers Land Conversion of Coffee Plantations To the Industry of Bricks and its Effect On the Income of Farmers In the District Curup, Regency Rejang Lebong (Guided by Sriati and Elly Rosana). The purpose of this study is : 1) Know the history of the process of land conversion of coffee plantations keindustri bricks. 2) Describe the factors that affect farmers ' land conversion and land conversion of coffee plantations to the brick industry in the Village Taberena District Curup, Regency Rejang Lebong. 3) Analyze the income of farmers who do the conversion and farmers who do not perform the conversion of Village land Taberena District Curup, Regency Rejang Lebong. This research was conducted in the month of November until December 2019. The method used in this research is survey method . withdrawal methods the example in this research is census method with number of samples 30 farmers who perform the land conversion and 30 farmers who are not land conversion of coffee plantations. The results of this study show the Process of land conversion of coffee plantations into industrial stone occurs because of right living needs increased as well as the results of the coffee production that hard has increased and the price of coffee tends to accentuate the flat or no increase. So that the coffee farmers seek additional work, which is to become the workers of the brick in the District of the Plains Tapus. After feel enough work there and accompanied the demand for bricks is high enough farmers coffee break the right to open industrial brick in the coffee plantations of them. And many coffee plantations began to move into the brick industry. The factors that significantly affect the decision of coffee farmers to do the conversion of land and not the land conversion of coffee plantations into the brick industry is education, income, and land area. While that does not significantly affect the decision of land conversion of coffee plantations into industrial bricks are dependents of the family. The results of the analysis indicates that the income of farmers land conversion of coffee plantations into industrial brick is greater than the income of farmers who do not do the land conversion. The average income of farmers who do the conversion in a year that is Rp49.887.600. While the average income of coffee farmers in a year that is Rp16.690.017,90 /Ha/Yr.
