Abstract

This study aims to deter mine the rice productivity and to analyze the factors that affecting the productivity of swamp rice in Gelebak Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. The study was conducted in April to May 2020. The research method used was a survey method. The research location was chosen by purposive sampling based on the consideration that in this region the majority of the population have a livelihood as swamp rice farmers by doing two planting seasons. Sampling was done through purposive sampling (intentionally), within the farmers of swamp rice who did two planting seasons as many as 30 people. The methods of data analysis uses are multiple linear regression analysis and one way ANOVA test. The results showed that the average productivi ty of swamp rice in Glebak village in Rambutan District for the first planting season was 4,11 tons / ha and the productivity of swamp rice for the second planting season was 2,64 tons / ha. All estimating variables simultaneously showed a significant effe ct on the productivity of rice in the first planting season and also the second planting season. Partially, land area and production factors significantly influence the productivity of swamp rice in the first planting season, Whereas In the second planting season, land area, production and TSP fertilizer factors significantly influence the productivity of swamp rice. The use of urea fertilizer did not show a significant effect on the productivity of swamp rice in the first planting season and the second pla nting season.
