Abstract

This research is entitled "Community Participation in the Management of Burai Tourism Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency". Community participation is needed to help the development and development of tourist villages. In forming a tourism village that is well managed, it takes ideas, innovation and has the ability to be able to encourage tourist villages to be more advanced. Aims to find out the forms of community participation and find out the community's response to the Burai Tourism Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency, using the concept of community participation proposed by Isbandi. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, using primary data sources and secondary data sources obtained in the research process. Data collection techniques that include observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study found that the participation of the people of Burai Village was carried out directly and indirectly and the community's response could be seen positively or negatively, thus it can be seen that community participation encourages changes in the lives of the people of Burai Tourism Village.
