Abstract

Respon Larva dan Imago Plutella xylostella (Linn.) (Lepidoptera: Yponomeutidae) terhadap insektisida Nimba, Botanis agonal, Bacillus thuringiensis Berliner dan Lamda Sihalotrin (Dibimbing oleh TRIANI ADAM dan EFFENDY TA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon larva dan imago Plutella xylostella (Linn.) terhadap ekstrak nimba Azadirachta indica A. Juss dan botanis agonal, insektisida Bacillus thuringiensis dan lamda sihalotrin. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Entomologi, Jurusan Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sriwijaya, Inderalaya, dilakukan pada bulan Maret sampai Agustus 2004. Penelitian ini menggunkan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan menggunakan lima perlakuan dan enam ulangan. Semua data yang dihasilkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis sidik ragam, dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ). Parameter pengamatan terdiri dari mortalitas larva, pembentukan pupa, pembentukan imago, jumlah telur dan mortalitas imago. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa insektisida mempunyai pengaruh nyata terhadap mortalitas larva, pembentukan pembentukan imago, jumlah telur yang diletakkan dan mortalitas imago.
