Abstract
This research is entitled "Effectiveness of Persuasive Communication of the National Narcotics Agency of Ogan Ilir Regency in counseling on the prevention of drug abuse in adolescents, a case study at SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya, Ogan Ilir Regency" which aims to find out an overview of the effectiveness of counseling the narcotics agency at BNN in Ogan Ilir Regency in counseling on prevention of abuse. And analysis using descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques. The conclusion from the analysis of the level of achievement of each dimension of the first persuasive communication variable, namely the persuader aspect dimension gets a percentage of 59.60% and the persuadee aspect dimension gets a percentage of 46.21% and the message aspect dimension gets a percentage of 42 ,5% while the channel aspect dimension obtained a percentage of 46.8% and the last dimension of the feedback aspect obtained a percentage of 56.82%. Which in accordance with the provisions of the calculation scale has a percentage of 41-60 which means getting a medium achievement category. keywords: Persuasive communication, counseling on prevention of drug abuse in adolescents
