Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul Perlindungan Hukum Terhadap Siswa Sebagai Korban Verbal Bullying Di Lingkungan Sekolah Menengah Atas. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam skripsi ini mengenai bagaimana perlindungan hukum terhadap korban verbal bullying di lingkungan sekolah, apa saja faktor penghambat perlindungan hukum terhadap korban verbal bullying dan apa upaya pencegahan yang harus dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya kasus verbal bullying di lingkungan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian hukum empiris. Hasil pembahasan menyimpulkan bahwa bentuk perlindungan hukum yang dilakukan sekolah adalah memberi fasilitas bimbingan konseling bagi siswanya yang membutuhkan, sekolah mengutamakan asas kekeluargaan dalam penyelesaian kasusnya, bimbingan konseling juga berperan sebagai mediator dalam proses mediasi, proses perlindungan hukum ini sendiri memiliki beberapa faktor penghambat dalam penerapannya, karena itu pula dimuat bentuk dari upaya pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan oleh para korban, keluarga, sekolah dan juga masyarakat sekitar sekolah untuk mencegah terjadinya kasus verbal bullying dan memaksimalkan perlindungan hukum bagi siswa korban verbal bullying.
