Abstract
This study aims to identify the fungus that causes leaf wilt in cultivated chili (Capsicum frutescens) plants so that it is expected to produce important information about pathogenic fungi in chili so that later it can be known how to overcome these pathogenic fungi. This study was carried out in the laboratory of pests and diseases plants in February to June 2019 The ingredients used in this study were the materials used in this study, namely Alcohol 70%, Mushroom Isolate from sick chili plants, PDA Media (Potato Dextrote Agar) consisting of potatoes, sugar, agar, and aquades, chili plants, isolates trichoderma, and fungicide. This study uses a completely randomized design method consisting of 4 treatments 7 replications The results of this study indicate that based on the results of identification of cultured isolates that the fungus attacks the cayenne plant, the fusarium fungus that causes wilt.
