Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah teknik modelling lebih efektif dibanding teknik konvensional dalam pembelajaran menulis pidato di kelas V SD 95 Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen semu, sample penelitian beijumlah 79 orang dengan rincian 39 orang siswa kelas VB (kelas ekperimen) dan 40 orang kelas VA sebagai (kelas kontrol). Skor ratarata kelas yang menggunakan teknik modelling lebih besar dibanding rata-rata kelas yang menggunakan teknik konvensional. Untuk mendapatkan hasil yang lebih baik dalam menulis pidato dengan menggunakan teknik modelling sebaiknya waktu yang digunakan lebih banyak . Kata Kunci : Keefektifan teknik modelling
