Abstract
This purpose of this research are to know and evaluate how the company’s financial performance in idustry ceramics, giass and porcelain are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange by analyzing liquidity ratio, solvability ratio and profitability ratio. This study uses the financial statements consisting of balance sheet and income statement for five years from the period 2005 to 2009. Samples were selected by using the method of purposive sampling. The company which became the study sample are PT.Arwana Citra Mulia, PT, PT.Mulia Industrindo, Tbk, PT. Surya Toto Indonesia, Tbk. The analysis method used are quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of this research indicate that the value of the highest liquidity ratio is at PT Surya Toto Indonesia, which has a value of current ratio and quick ratio of the highest compared with the two other companies, the exchange ratio is respectively 206.31% (current ratio) and 144.26% (quick ratio), it can be said liquid, because the liquid assets to guarantee all current liabilities. In the solvability ratio, a company that insovable is PT. Mulia Industrindo, Tbk, because it has a value of total debt to asset ratio greater than two other companies that is equal to 232.65% in 2008. This means that all assets in the company is financed by debt, the greater this ratio the greater the risk faced by finance companies. Then in the profitability ratio analysis, a company that is considered most able to create a profit is the net profit margin ratio, the highest and lowest values found in PT Mulia Industrindo in 2007 and 2009. This value indicates how much the company's ability to control costs and expenses in connection with the sale.
