Abstract

This research is entitled “ Effectiveness of Budget Management for the Activitiesof the foreigner surveillance team at the immigration Office Class I TPI Palembang in 2018. This research is motivated by the problem of the effectiveness of budget management for the activities of the foreign supervision team. The mothod used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method, where this study analyzes and describes the existing reality. Based on the analysis conducted, there are several things that have not been maximized in the budget for supervision activities, namely the lack of members of the supervision team and the minimum budget. So the theory used as an indicator is the theory of Richard M. Steers (1996:12) of the basic components, namely input (input), process (process), and ouput (output) in achieving the goal. The data used in the form of primary data and secondary data obtained from interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that the management has not yet reached the target. This is because the function of implementing the supervision of foreigners has not been fully implemented, especially the organizing function and the the mobilization function by Wasdakim (immigration supervision and enforcement) at the Palembang Class I immigration office in 2018.
