Abstract

Face identification is one of the important research fields that is also very interesting as an identity guide, and today many systems use it. In identifying faces, face detection is the first step in the system with the aim of localizing and extracting faces from the background or can be called face detectors that determine the location and size of all possible human faces in the image. Then it will be extracted using the Eigenfaces method to get its facial features and compared with training data using the Euclidean Distance method. For detection can be obtained overall success of an average of 86.6% while for face identification obtained an average success of 75.3%.
