Abstract
The focus of this research is to use pfSense, by applying the Load Balancing technology available in pfSense. Along with the development of the era of computer networks, it is necessary to develop a network that aims to maintain optimal traffic, maximize throughput, minimize response time, and avoid overload on one of the connection lines, the network that can be used to achieve this is Load Balancing. Load Balancing is a network concept that is able to divide the traffic load into two or more network connections in a balanced way so that work can run more optimally and does not burden the load on one of the internet connection lines, and failover techniques will be applied to the network so that if the gateway connection is wrong is disconnected then another gateway will automatically take over all network traffic.
