Abstract
In table tennis, players usually practice hitting table tennis balls manually by practicing with opposing players or coaches, but that method has a less effective impact because they consume too much energy. The Multiball training method is a technique for training the direction of the ball's attack, speed so that players can perform ball hitting exercises with automation which will be used as research material. In this research, the author aims to developed and implemented a table tennis ball throwing robot with a remote control Web Server based Internet of Things. The robot is created with NodeMCU ESP8266 components, three 2200KV BLDC Motors for ball throwers, 3 Hobbywing 40A ESCs, and 3 MG996R Servo Motors to direct the ball direction. The result of this research is a robot that can control the ball's throwing speed and direction of motion of the ball.
