Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1. Calculate how much income the household of buffalo milk craftsmen in Bangsal Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. 2. Calculating the added value received by home industries that process buffalo milk in Bangsal Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. 3. Calculate how much the added value of the household income of buffalo milk craftsmen in Bangsal Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The study was conducted in Bangsal Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. Data collection began at the beginning of January to the end of January 2019. The sampling method for the buffalo milk processing industry used in this study was the census method with a sample of 3 people. The results of the research were obtained, namely:1. Household income earned by buffalo milk processing craftsmen in Bangsal Village per month is Rp.4,550,793 and for household income of Rp.54,609,516. Household income is obtained from rice farming and processed buffalo milk products, sugar, and beef oil.2. The ratio of value added obtained by buffalo dairy processing craftsmen in processing fresh buffalo milk is 42,97% sugar, 60,11% fresh sagon, and 70,11% cow oil. Products that produce the highest added value are cow oil products. Based on the criteria of the value-added level, fresh buffalo milk processed products in Bangsal Village all produce high added value.3. The contribution of the value-added income from buffalo milk processed products to the income of buffalo milk processing craftsmen in Bangsal Village is 77.05% and belongs to the dominant category.
