Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe higher order thinking skills in the evaluation of economic learning. This type of research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The place in this research is SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. The data in this study were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the related research show that of the 60 multiple choice questions, 7% of the questions are in the HOTS category. As for the 60 multiple choice questions, there were also 4 questions that were categorized as interesting stimuli and 4 contextual stimuli, and there were no different forms of questions. As for the percentage of the results of the analysis of questions from 60 even semester summative test questions in the form of multiple choice on economics material for class X for the 2020-2021 academic year at SMA N 10 Palembang, as many as 40% of questions enter the C1 cognitive level, 51% of the questions enter the C2 cognitive level, 2% of the questions go to the C3 cognitive level, 7% of the questions go to the C4 cognitive level and 0% of the C5 and C6 cognitive levels.
