Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio and Earning Per Share on stock prices with Return on Equity as a moderating variable. The population used in this research is mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2016-2020 period. Based on the purposive sampling, 10 companies were selected as research sample. The analysis technique is multiple and moderated regression analysis. The result show that partially Debt to Equity Ratio had a significant negative effect on stock prices,while Earning Per Share had a significant positive effect on stock prices. Return on Equity as a moderating variable that can strengthen the influence Earning Per Share to stock prices, but Return on Equity is not able to moderate the influence of Debt to Equity Ratio on stock prices. The implication of this research is that companies must pay attention to the ratio of debt and company income, because this ratio affects the company’s stock price Keywords: Debt to Equity Ratio, Earning Per Share, Return on Equity, Stock Price
