Abstract

This thesis is entilled "Legal Protection for Muslim Consumers Who Consume lnsta111 hnpor1 Noodle Products (Semyang, Nongshim, and Ot1ogi Instant Noodle)". This thesis is written in accordance with the existence of import food product sold in ladoncsia without putting halal label on the products. In accordance withthe background, the problems rise in this thesis about the obligation regulation toward import instant noodle businessmen in pulling halal label and the sanctions and how the protection of Muslim consumers who consume import imtnnt noodle products to get wnrrnnty of holal label on instant import noodle products. ln or:der to solve the problems, the method uSt:d was nomllllive juridical method with theoriesthat became the foundotion of this writing were: the theory of legol protection, protection theory, and legal cortainty theory. Based on the findings. it can be concluded that the rC1,rulation obout the obliga1ionforbusmessmen to put halal lobe! and its sanctions hove been regulated in Undang-Undang Number 33 of2014 about llalal Products Assurance so that lhc Muslim consumers will feel protected.
