Abstract
Pabrik pembuatan Etilbenzena direncanakan berlokasi di daerah Kawasan Industri Cikarang,Jawa Barat. Pabrik ini meliputi area seluas 8 ( delapan) Ha dengan kapasitas 280.000 ton per tahun. Proses pembuatan Etilbenzena dilakukan dengan Proses oksidatif kopling metana yaitu dengan mereaksikan Metan dalam Fase Gas dengan Oksigen yang berlangsung di dalam Reaktor-01 (R-01) pada temperatur 800°C dan tekanan 22 atm sehingga Menghasilkan bahan baku pembuatan etilbenzena yaitu etilena. Etilena akan direaksikan kembali dengan benzena fasa cair pada reaktor (R-02) pada temperatur 225°C dan tekanan 15 atm sehingga rnenghasilkan etilbenzena,reaksi yang terjadi adalah sebagai berikut : C2H4+ C6H6 C3Hw Pabrik ini merupakan perusahaan yang berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff: yang dipimpin oleh seorang direktur utama dengan jumlah karyav,an 145 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, maka Pabrik Etilbenzena ini dinyatakan layak didirikan, diantaranya: a. Total Capital Investment (TCl): US$ 32,898,67i _70 b. Biaya produksi per tahun : US$ 361,459,103.87 c. Total penjualan per tahun : US$ 399,455,788.98 d. Laba bersih per tahun : US$ 27,838,551.55 e. Annual Cash Flow (ACF) : US$ 30,380,721.63 f. Pay Out Time : 2 tahun g. Rate ofreturn on Investment : 85% h. Break Even Point : 36% i. Service life : 11 tahun
