Abstract

This study aims to detcnnine the level of uwnrcness of rural people Pajar Bulan sub district of Tanjung Bnllt in maintaining the cleanliness of the environment. In this study, the entire student population is people Pajar Bulan sub district of Tanjung Batu remain domicilc:d in Pajnr Bulan. Total population in this study is that 1.203 pt.-oplc using sampling technique disproportionate stratified random samplini;, the number of samples in this study were 100 people. The data collection techniques required in the data analysis of this study is documentation techniques, questionnaires and interview. To determine the level of awareness of rural people PaJar Bulan sub district of Tanj ung Batu used descriptive statistical data analysis techniques. Based on the criteria of interpretation score is high awareness rate(> 12.5) and the awareness rate is low (<12.5). The results of the analysis of both data collection techniques, it can be concluded that people Pajar Bulan sub discrict ofTanjung Batu has a high level of awareness in local elections with an average number of 28.
