Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa pada materi PLSV setelah diterapkan pembelajaran menggunakan media video melalui pendekatan PMRI dan collaborative learning. Video yang digunakan berisikan sharing task dan jumping task dengan pendekatan PMRI yang membuat siswa lebih tertarik dalam belajar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.4 SMP Negeri 1 Palembang dengan jumlah siswa 20. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes tertulis, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas VII.4 SMP Negeri 1 Palembang pada materi PLSV berkategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 61,475. Indikator kemampuan penalaran matematis yang paling sering muncul pada siswa adalah indikator manipulasi matematika sedangkan indikator yang paling jarang muncul pada siswa adalah indikator memeriksa kesahihan suatu argumen.
