Abstract

The use of fmancial repori for user, among investor in security exchange, depend on precisely the time lines of puhlication. One of the main reason precise or not the time puhlication of fmancial report is existence the audit process on fmancial report, it ’s means as audit delay. This research examine somefaclor t ha/ guess can injluence audit delay in manufactur company at Indonesia Security Exchange o n 2004-2006. Three independent varia b le that guess can injluence audit delay included the auditor opinion, size of accountan public office, and the long time of the company t o be clien accountan public office. The statistic method used to test on the research hypothesis is multiple regression. The total sample which analysis are 94 manufacture companies. The result statistic deskriptif indicated the mean audit delay decrease on 2004-2006. While the result multiple regression analysis (t-test) indicated variable of the opinion auditor and the long time of company to be clien accountan public ojjice significant injluential audit delay on 2004-2006. While the size of accountan public office significant injluential only on 2006.
