Abstract

Isolasi, skrining, karakterisasi, dan identifikasi jamur endofitik penghasil senyawa Antibakteri dari Tanaman Daun Dewa (Gynura pseudochina (L) DC), telah dilakukan dari bulan Juni sampai bulan Desember 2007 di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Sriwijaya. Penditian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh isolat Jamur endofitik penghasil senyawa antibakteri dari tanaman daun dewa (Gynura psedeuchinc (L) DC dan mengetahui karakter untuk menentukan spesies dari masing-masing isolat jamur endofitik tersebut. Uji aktivitas antibakteri dilakukan dengan metode difusi agar, bakteri uji yang digunakan adalah Escherichia coli dan Staphylococcus aureus. Hasil penelitm menunjukkan bahwa, jamur endofitik yang diisolasi dan tanaman daun dewa sebanyak 6 isolat Dari 6 isolat jamur diperoleh 4 isolat jamur yang menghasilkan senyawa antibakteri Jamur endofitik penghasil senyawa antibakteri diidentifikasi kf dala™ spesies yaitu Aspergillus niger, Chrysonilia sitophila, Aspergillus candidus d AspergZ ochraceus. Jamur Aspergillus menghasilkan diameter zona bening terbesar terhadap bakteri Escherichia coli yaitu 18,875 mm. Kata kunci : skrining, isolasi, penghasil senyawa
