Abstract
The research of time, currents and pH on waste ammonia electrolysis to producy of hydrogen gas and the descreasing of ammonia contens has been done. The electrolysis proses of waste ammonia was done with 5 M potassium hydroxideas electrolyte , at 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 minutes, the current 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 ampere and pH 9, 10, and 11. This research show the volume of hydrogen gas increase with increasing of time and current. The observation pH indicated that electrolysis process effectively at Ph 11. The result also indicated that the amount of energy per volume bigger than the energy per mass, due to the low density of hydrogen. time to 90 minutes as much as 6.5 mL with a current of 2 ampere. The highest descreasing of remaining ammonia occurred at 5 A from 21.900 mg N/L to 1.850 mg N/L.
