Abstract

The development of technology and industrial robotics that is increasingly fast, sophisticated and powerful, encourages us to meet the needs of life quickly, precisely and efficiently. A line follower robot car is a form of robot system that has a wheel and is made to produce a vehicle that can move itself at a certain speed and will following the trajectory that has been created the robot car is able to go with an average speed of 41.13 cm/second and takes an average time to get to the end point 4.86 seconds without leaving the track, then when climbing the robot car also succeeds through the track with well, so also when the simulation error value of the robot car is very small. The robot car which has 2 DC motors with a 12 V power supply has been tested and can pass a well-made trajectory without leaving the track, the Infrared Sensor that is used is functioning properly but when the power of the robot decreases, the sensor performance also decreases and affects speed when the sensor reads, the speed of the robot car is strongly influenced by the performance of the infrared sensor, the faster the sensor reads, the speed of the robot car will be faster
