Abstract

Stunting is a linear growth disorder of children due to chronic lack of nutrient intake. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between internal and external factors of the organization to the level of performance or success of the Stunting program at the Air Beliti Health Center, to analyze in depth the implementation of the stunting prevention program at the Air Beliti Health Center, Musi Rawas Regency. This research method is a combination method (Mixed Methods). Location of Air Beliti Health Center, in March-May 2021. Sample of Air Beliti Health Center employees. The informants of this research were the Head of Service, Head of Public Health Center, Program Officer, Cadre and Parents. Quantitative data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis, Chi-Square test statistics. Qualitative analysis using content analysis. The results show that the factors that influence the successful implementation of the stunting prevention program at the Air Beliti Public Health Center are the variable characteristics of the agency structure, network and communication, and external networks. While the factors that are not related to the success of the stunting program are organizational culture and community needs. The implementation of the stunting prevention program at the Air Beliti Health Center tends to get a positive response. The stunting prevention program carried out by the Air Beliti Health Center includes; 1) improve the nutritional quality of individuals, families, and communities; 2) take joint actions or breakthroughs for stunting prevention, 3) carry out health and nutrition education strategies through family independence; and do 1000 HPK moves. Conclusion: The implementation of the stunting prevention program at the Air Beliti Health Center, Musi Rawas Regency in general has been going well with positive community responses. Factors that can affect the successful implementation of the Stunting program are the characteristics of the agency structure, network and communication, and external networks.
