Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of NPF, BOPO, GDP and SBIS on the growth of Islamic banking assets in Indonesia in the short and long term. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Statistics of Indonesian Islamic Banking and Statistics of Indonesian Economy and Finance (SEKI). The data collection technique is in the form of monthly time series data with 5 years of observation for the period January 2016-December 2020. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Error Correction Model (ECM) technique using Eviews 10. The results of this study indicate that in the short term NPF has a negative and significant effect, BOPO has a positive and insignificant effect on the growth of Islamic banking assets in Indonesia. While in the long term NPF has a negative and insignificant effect, BOPO has a negative and insignificant effect, GDP has a negative and insignificant effect, SBIS has a negative and insignificant effect on the growth of Islamic banking assets in Indonesia.
