Abstract

Fast food restaurants industry is one of the most competitive and progresses, and increasingly over the demands. The rapidly against kfc ( kentucky fried chicken ) resulted in an increased employee who had disease caused by work. The purpose of this research to know risk factor analysis of occupational low back pain on kfc ( kentucky fried chicken) employees in palembang city 2018. This research descriptive analitic study using cross sectional design. The population of this research is the employee who work at kfc ( kentucky fried chicken) in palembang city with 66 people choosen based on proportional cluster sampling method. Data analysis are univariate and bivariate using chi-square statistic test. The result showed prevalence of lbp complaint 65,2%, variable of Ase (p value = 0,000) , Length of Work (p value = 0.008) , Work Position ( p value = 0,002) has affecting of lbp complaint. Variable of IMT (p value = 0,233) , the acts of previous illness (p value = 0,519) has not affecting of lbp complaint. We can be concluded that LBP complaints on KFC ( Kentucky Fried Chicken) employees in palembang city 2018 influenced by , age , length of employment and a position of employment. So the advice given in the form of providing more effective break time to the workers, provide training and knowledge about LBP and increase drinking water to avoid LBP.
