Abstract

The research is aimed to describe the way of learning each student has such as independent, collaborative and unindependent. The purpose of this research is also to find out thedifference of academic performance of the students of Primary Teacher Education who attend throrugh some tracks such as Non-Test Track or SNMPTN, Regular Test Track or SBMPTN and Independent Track or USM based on GPA. This research is kind of comparative research which was conducted on January 22nd – 31st, 2018 at two colleges such as Indralaya and Km. 5 Palembang. The subjects involved in this research are second year students consisted of 101 students. The data were collected by using quesioner and GPA sheets submitted by every student. The method of data analysis used is Kruskall Wallis Method. It shows that each student has their own way of learning and the difference of learning way they have also determines their academic permformance and GPA which is shown by Kruskall Wallis test with Chitest = 13,50 > Chitable = 5,99 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.
