Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan respon tanaman selada (Lactuca Sativa L.) terhadap pupuk Bio perforasi 2000 Z sebagai pupuk cair lengkap dan campuran pupuk tunggal N, P, dan K dengan perbedaan frekuensi pemupukan pada Tanah Ultisol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di rumah kaca, sedangkan analisis tanah dan tanaman di Laboratorium Biologi, Kimia dan Kesuburan tanah Jurusan Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya pada bulan Agustus sampai Oktober 2004. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang perlakuannya disusun secara faktorial dengan tiga perlakuan dan tiga ulangan, yaitu pupuk Bio Perforasi 2000 Z (0, 2,5, 5, dan 7,5 liter ha"1), campuran pupuk tunggal N, P, dan K (112,5 kg N + 75 kg P205 + 75 kg K20, 225 kg N + 150 kg P205 + 150 kg K20, dan 337,5 kg N + 225 kg P205 + 225 kg K20 ha'1) dan frekuensi pemupukan (sekaligus dan dua kali pemberian). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk Bio Perforasi 2000 Z terbaik pada takaran 2,5 liter ha'1 terhadap serapan N, P, K dan produksi (72,14 g tanaman'1), perlakuan campuran pupuk tunggal N, P, dan K terbaik pada takaran 337,5 kg N + 225 kg P2Os + 225 kg K20 ha'1 terhadap serapan N, P, K dan takaran 112,5 kg N + 75 kg P205 + 75 kg K20 ha'1 terhadap produksi (78,24 g tanaman'1). Frekuensi pemupukan dua kali lebih baik dibandingkan sekaligus terhadap pH tanah, serapan N dan K tetapi frekuensi pemupukan sekaligus lebih baik terhadap serapan P dan produksi tanaman. Perlakuan campuran pupuk tunggal N, P, dan K lebih baik dan lebih menguntungkan secara ekonomi dibandingkan pupuk Bio Perforasi 2000 Z.
