Abstract

This study aimed /0 analyze 1he working capilal cycle of Cash Conversion Cycle for companies which are basic and chemical mamifacturing industries that listed on the Indonesia Srock Exchange, the companies are assessed from three supporting components: Days of Sales Outstanding (DSO), Days of Inventory Outstanding (DI0) and Days of Payables Outstanding (DPO). The data used in this study was secondary data that obtained through the companies' financial statements during the year 2012 to 2016. The samples of this study were selected by using simple random sampling method. There were 15 companies that were selected to be the object of research in this study. Data analysis techniques was used in this research were descriptive analysis. The results showed that the companies cash conversion cycle was viewed from Days of Sales Outstanding (DSO), Days of Inventory Outstanding (DPO), Days of Payables Outstanding (DPO) analysis, it tended to fluctuate and not efficient yet. because there were still basic and chemicals industry that had CCC, DSO, DIO levels above industry standard and DPO levels below industry numbers. It means that the Cash Conversion Cycle management was inefficient. The results also showed that only three firms remain constantly on efficient CCC numbers during this study period.
