Abstract

This research is motivated by the quality of Indonesian television content which is still low and not accompanied by media literacy ability. Remotivi is a study center and communication media that conduct media literacy movements for media users in Indonesia. This research aims to knowing media literacy in video "Karma di Balik Karma ANTV" by Remotivi YouTube Channel. The method that used in this research is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, library research documentation and in-depth interviews. The theory that used in this research is media literacy theory by Art Silverblatt which consists of four aspects. Based on analysis results of the research, the video "Karma di Balik Karma ANTV" has all the aspects that proposed by Art Silverblatt like process, context, framework and value of production. By using the aspects of the media literacy on that video, it can also be concluded that Remotivi has conducted a series of media aware movements to improve individual control and skills towards the media.
