Abstract

The purposes of this study were to: 1) To determine the amount of farmer labor in the irrigation area of the village of Pajar Bulan District, Lahat Regency, 2) To calculate the income of farmers in the village irrigation area of Pajar Bulan District, Lahat Regency, 3) To analyze the effect of the outpouring of labor. work on the income of farmer families in the irrigation area of the village of Pajar Bulan District, Lahat Regency. This research was conducted in Jenti'an Village. The location determination was done purposively by considering that Jenti'an Village is one of the rice producing villages in Lahat Regency. The time for data collection will begin in August 2020 until September 2020. The research method used in this study is a survey method. The survey method is a research method using a questionnaire as a reference for a systematic arrangement that aims to collect the required data. This study uses amethod (simple random samplingsimple random sampling). The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the outpouring of labor time in Jenti'an Village, Pajar Bulan District on rice farming was 49.29 HOK per growing season, labor time in coffee farming was 9.41 HOK per growing season, and outside farming is 22.75 HOK per growing season. The average income obtained by farmers in rice farming activities is Rp6.950.328 per arable area per growing season, for coffee farming the average income is Rp 4.693.672 per arable area per growing season, and the average income outside farming is Rp6.900.000 per growing season. The allocation of family labor time has a positive effect on family income on rice farming and non-farming outflows in Jenti'an Village, Pajar Bulan District at the 1% test level, both taking into account the wages of family workers and those that do not take into account the wages of family workers..
