Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of state ownership (Govi) on firm value (PBV) by using the control variable firm size and firm growth in state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the first quarter of 2020 - the first quarter of 2021. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained through financial reports on the IDX. The population in this study were all state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the first quarter of 2020 – the first quarter of 2021. Twelve companies are used as the sample of this study through the purposive sampling method, and the analysis technique used is a linear regression analysis of panel data with Eviews. The results of this study indicate that state ownership (Govi) has a positive and significant effect on firm value (PBV), firm size does not affect firm value (PBV), and firm growth does not affect firm value (PBV).
