Abstract

This study aims to find out how the efforts of the Industry Service of South Sumatra Province in providing services to small and medium industries in the city of Palembang. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques using documentation, interviews, and observations conducted at the Office of the Industry Service of South Sumatra Province. The conclusion of this study is that policy formulation makes a policy by implementing online-based services. In strengthening institutional capacity, the Industry Office of South Sumatra Province describes institutional strengthening to provide the best service to small and medium industries. Furthermore, the provision of facilities in the form of recommendations to register for IPR is cheaper, free halal certificate facilities and free packaging design facilities (every Thursday) and many more.
