Abstract
Electrical energy is primary need for human life, industrial sector is one of the fields that utilize electricity with high usage, that efficient of electricity is needed. Laundry is an industry with services offered washing and ironing clothes. To evaluate efficiency MCDM–PROMETHEE method is used, this determines order or priority of the use of electrical energy. The advantage of this method, the process of ranking alternatives will use quantitative and qualitative data, the data is sorted based on the use of electric power. This Final Project load data in 2 laundry for 10 days. After applying the MCDM-PROMETHEE method, found the value of the intensity of electrical energy consumption in Cahaya laundry was 0,8775 KWh/m^2, while Bebi Laundry was 0.777 KWh/m^2 (Based on these results the two laundry included in wasteful category). To obtain higher efficiency, it is necessary to select possible alternatives. The best alternative was chosen by calculating the PROMETHEE method. Electrical energy efficiency in Cahaya laundry was obtained as an alternative to Changes in Laundry Work Operational Procedures with ranking weight of 0.133333, Laundry Bebi obtain two alternatives, Changes in Design and Location of Electrical Equipment, the Use of Energy-Saving Technology with an assessment weight 0.66666.
