Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan pemerolehan nilai- nilai karakter peserta didik antara kelas yang menerapkan dual kurikulum dengan kelas kurikulum reguler UPT SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 344 orang. Dari jumlah tersebut yang menjadi sampel berjumlah 69 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sampling purposive yaitu teknik dalam menentukan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumentasi, angket/kuesioner dan observasi. Untuk mengetahui perbandingan pemerolehan nilai-nilai karakter peserta didik antara kelas yang menerapkan dual kurikulum dengan kelas kurikulum reguler SMA Negeri 1 Palembang, digunakan teknik analisis data dan statistik deskriptif dilihat berdasarkan indikator yang paling dominan muncul di lapangan. Dengan demikian terlihat bahwa adanya perbedaan nilai karakter peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran PPKn yang didominasi kelas XI IPA 4 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang kelas XI IPA 1.
