Abstract

Pelabuhan Panjang is one of the open ports for ocean going, domestic shipping or national shipping in Lampung province. Shipping activity at Pelabuhan Panjang is so high that bathymetry and tidal surveys are needed to be carried out to get the latest data to support the interests of shipping safety. The study used multibeam echosounder and tide master tools. Data obtained in the form of depth data and tidal data in 2020. Data validation was conducted in this study using SVP (Sound Velocity Profiler) correction, tidal correction and patch test calibration. The purpose of data validation is to look at the accuracy of research data in the field with predictive results data. The value of the tidal RMSE obtained is 0.48%. Based on the results of calculations using Formzahl numbers known type of Long Port couple, which is a mixture of double daily and MSL (Mean Sea Level) value of 427 cm. The water conditions in Pelabuhan Panjang have a depth of 4 m to 25 m where there are objects detected during the swarming in the form of shipwreck objects at a depth of 15 m and water shallowness objects at a depth of 10 m. Variations in the depth of the Long Harbor are indicated by the presence of tight, closed contour lines that describe the bottom of the water having a significant slope or depth difference.
