Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh sisa amelioran, pupuk N dan P terhadap respirasi, pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman padi musim kedua pada tanah gambut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan mei sampai september 2006 di rumah kaca Jurusan Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial dengan 3 faktor perlakuan dan ulangan sebagai kelompok. Faktor pertama terdiri dari 2 dosis (0 dan 5 ton ha'1) amelioran yang merupakan campuran dari pupuk kendang dan dolomit, faktor kedua terdiri dari 3 dosis (0, 50 dan 100 kg N ha'1) dan factor ketiga terdiri dari 3 dosis (0, 50 dan 100 kg P ha"1). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sisa amelioran tanpa pupuk N dan P memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap respirasi tanah, kemudian amelioran dengan dosis 5 ton ha'1 memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap respirasi tanah tapi tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman padi.
