Abstract

The purposes of this research to determine the effect of feeding dose on the growth of Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus) and Caisim (Brassica juncea) in aquaponic techniques and what the maximum feed dose on the growth of sangkuriang catfish. The method used was an experimental method with completely randomized design consisting of four treatments dan six repetitions. The treatments consisted of P1 (2.5%), P2 (5%), P3 (7.5%) and P4 (10%). The data was analyzed with ANOVA and continued with Least Significance Different (LSD). The 7,5% feed dose gave maximum results for the growth of sangkuriang catfish with an average catfish weight 182.81 grams, total fish length 6.7 cm and raw catfish length 5.87 cm. The 10% feed dose gace maximum results for the growth of caisim with an average wet weight 3.14 grams, 0.21 grams of root wet weight, 0,21 grams of dry root weight and 0,036 grams root dry weight. Based on the results of analysis, it can be concluded that the feed dose has a very significant effect on the growth of sangkuriang catfish. The result of this study can be an alternative contextual example in class XII material on Growth and Development of Living Things on basic competencies 3.1 and 4.1. The results of the research are donated in the form of learning tools (syllabus, lesson plans and student worksheets). Keywords: aquaponic, feed, sangkuriang catfish, caisim, growth
