Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan lompat jangkit terhadap peningkatan hasil lay up shoot pada siswa ekstrakurikuler bola basket SMA Negeri 8 Ogan Ilir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode quasy eksperiment. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bola basket di SMA Negeri 8 Ogan Ilir yang berjumlah 30 orang.Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah sampel yang jumlahnya sebesar populasi yaitu 30 orang (total sampling). Instrumen penelitian yaitu tes lay up shoot. Hasil pengolahan dan analisis data dengan menggunakan uji normalitas data dan uji hipotesis dengan rumus uji t, bahwa latihan lompat jangkit berpengaruh terhadap hasil lay up shoot. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis data melalui perhitungan rumus uji t dengan kriteria thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (13,443 ˃ 1,70) dengan taraf kepercayaan 0,95 (α = 0,05) dan jumlah sampel (N = 30), maka hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. Latihan lompat jangkit secara signifikan memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil lay up shoot. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengenai pengaruh latihan lompat jangkit yang diduga mempunyai pengaruh terhadap hasil lay up shoot, ternyata memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil lay up shoot pada ekstrakurikuler bola basket SMA Negeri 8 Ogan Ilir. Latihan lompat jangkit dapat digunakan siswa, pelatih dan guru Pjok untuk meningkatkan hasil lay up shoot.
