Abstract

This Final Project on Web-Based Cashier Applications was carried out at A&N Stores. This Final Project was carried out with the aim of making a Cashier Application by utilizing the Grant feature in maintaining the security of transaction data. In this store, transaction data management and report generation apply a simple way using books. The A&N store does not have an application to process transaction data so that the data is not stored in the database, this is considered less effective because it causes errors such as loss of paper containing transaction records, avoiding manipulation of transaction data, and producing accurate and precise reports takes a long time. long. Based on these problems the authors designed a web- based cashier application using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The software development method used is the waterfall method. The result of making this Final Project is a computerized web-based cashier application. With the Cashier application that utilizes the Grant feature, it can make it easier for owners and employees to control inputting activities carried out by cashiers, so that cashiers can only input transaction data and cannot change or delete existing transaction data.
