Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung populasi bakteri pelarut fosfat dan mikoriza indigen tanah lebak yang diusahakan dengan berbagai komoditas tanaman dan untuk mempelajari hubungan antara pH tanah dengan populasi bakteri pelarut fosfat dan spora mikoriza pada tanah lebak. Pengambilan contoh tanah dilakukan pada lahan rawa lebak Kabupaten Ogan Ilir dan analisis tanah dilakukan di Laboratorium Kimia, Biologi, dan Kesuburan Tanah Jurusan Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya, yang dilaksanakan sejak bulan Juli 2006 sampai dengan Desember 2006. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan populasi Bakteri Pelarut Fosfat dan Mikoriza Indigen pada lahan rawa lebak yang diusahakan dengan berbagai komoditas tanaman, adanya hubungan antara pH tanah dengan populasi Bakteri Pelarut Fosfat dan Mikoriza Indigen walaupun tidak menunjukkan korelasi yang nyata.
