Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian biochar cangkang kelapa sawit dan pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kacang tanah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Lalang Sembawa, Kecamatan Sembawa Kabupaten Banyuasin. Pada bulan Maret 2021 sampai dengan Juni 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial (RAKF) dan hasil pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA dan BNJ 5%. Benih yang digunakan adalah kacang tanah varietas kancil. Perlakuan terdiri dari dua faktor, faktor pertama adalah biochar cangkang kelapa sawit (B) yang terdiri dari empat taraf yaitu B0= kontrol, B1= 1,5 kg/petakan, B2= 3 kg/petakan, B3= 4,5 kg/petakan. Faktor kedua adalah pemberian NPK (N) yang terdiri dari tiga taraf yaitu N1= 30 g/petakan, N2= 60 g/petakan, N3= 90 g/petakan. Parameter yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang primer, umur berbunga, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong berisi per tanaman, berat polong per tanaman, produksi per petak, berat 100 biji, dan berat brangkasan kering. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan bahwa pemberian biochar cangkang kelapa sawit dan pupuk NPK tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diamati.
