Abstract
The title of this research is the influence of the learning environment on students’ learning motivation in economic subjects at Islamic Senior High School Azzahra Palembang. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the learning environment on students’ learning motivation in economic subjects at Azzahra Islamic High School Palembang. This research is a correlational study. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The sample of this research was 34 students of class XI IPS Islamic Senior High School Azzahra Palembang. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique. To find out whether or not the influence of the learning environment on students’ learning motivation is carried out, a hypothesis test is carried out using the product moment correlation formula and t test. Based on the calculation result obtained t_count 3.63 ˃ t_table 1.694 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, there is an influence of the learning environment on students’ learning motivation in economic subjects at Islamic Senior High School Azzahra Palembang. Then the determinant test was carried out to find out how much the X variable affected the Y variable and it was obtained 29.27%. It is recommended for educators and parents to pay more attention to the learning environment of students in order to stimulate and increase students’ learning motivation.
