Abstract

This study aims to describe how the role of parents in stimulating the morale of children aged 5-6 years when using gadgets during the Covid-19 pandemic in Srijaya Village. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. For data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used by the researcher is Miles and Huberman's qualitative data analysis, namely reducing data obtained from the field, displaying data (presenting data) in the form of a short narrative and drawing conclusions. The research subjects are two parents who have children aged 5-6 years in Srijaya Village. The results of this study indicate that the moral stimulation of children aged 5-6 years when using gadgets from parents and other families during the covid-19 pandemic, researchers found 4 roles of parents in stimulating children's morale when using gadgets, namely, with repetitive activities and habituation. activities, namely by: guiding honest behavior when watching youtube videos with a choice of moral-themed videos using gadgets, motivating helpful behavior when playing gadgets when someone needs help, accompanying polite behavior with older people, as protectors by maintaining personal hygiene by bathing, washing hands , sweep and make the bed.
