Analisis Strategi Pengendalian Vektor Malaria di Kabupaten Bangka Barat
Analysis of Malaria Vector Control Strategies in West Bangka Regency
Abstract
Kabupaten Bangka Barat merupakan satu-satunya kabupaten di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung yang belum mencapai eliminasi malaria. Hal ini disebabkan karena masih ditemukan kasus malaria indigenous di Kabupaten Bangka Barat. Data pelaporan E-SISMALpada tahun 2020 di Kabupaten Bangka Barat menunjukkan bahwa kasus malaria indigenous berjumlah 8 kasus dan data pengendalian vektor malaria yang kosong atau tidak ada laporan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengendalian vektor malaria di Kabupaten Bangka Barat dalam rangka eliminasi malaria. Penelitian ini jenis penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Bangka Barat pada bulan Mei sampai dengan Juni 2021. Penentuan informan penelitian dilakukan secara purposive. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui di focus group discussion, wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif dan photovoice. Validasi data yang digunakan berupa triangulasi metode dan sumber. Selanjutnya, dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi Nvivo 12 Plus for windows. Faktor-Faktor yang sering ditekankan oleh informan dalam penelitian sebanyak 8 Faktor. Faktor perilaku penambang (26 references), topografi wilayah (14 references), adaya pertemuan lintas sektor (6 references), dukungan lintas sektor, lintas program (5 references), kerjasama TNI/polri (5 references), keterbatasan SDM entomologi dan epidemiologi (18 references), keterbatasan dana (20 references) dan terbatasnya perlengkapan IRS (13 references). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan strategi pengendalian vektor malaria di Kabupaten Bangka Tengah belum maksimal. Hal ini disebabkan beberapa faktor yaitu topografi wilayah, perilaku penambang, pertemuan lintas sektor yang belum berdampak langsung pada program malaria, advokasi kepada TNI dan Polri, keterbatasan SDM entomology dan epidemiologi, dana dan perlengkapan IRS.
