Data analysis uses univariate and bivariate analysis using the Marginal Homogenity test. Before providing education the level of knowledge respondents about the management of diabetes mellitus diet was all less (≤55%), after the education of 2 respondents the level of knowledge was good (76%-100%), 7 respondents were enough (56%-75), and 4 respondents were still in the category of less (≤55%). The p-value is obtained by 0.005 < α (0.05), meaning that there is an influence of providing education using video media and booklets on family knowledge about the management of diabetes mellitus diet.
