Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the business and economic development of BUMDes Jaya Makmur in C3 Bukit Jaya Village, (2) to describe the form of use of BUMDes Jaya Makmur funds in C3 Bukit Jaya Village, (3) to formulate a strategy for developing BUMDes Jaya Makmur C3 Bukit Jaya Village who hopes to become the pillars of the National Economy. This research was conducted in C3 Bukit Jaya Village, Sungai Lilin District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The determination of the location of this research is based on the consideration that Bukit Jaya Village is one of the villages that has active BUMDes in Sungai Lilin District and has been established since early 2017. Gapoktan, PKK women, BPD, Karangtaruna, Trader Groups and Village Communities. BUMDes Jaya Makmur in business and economic development has a big role and responsibility in advancing the business in order to obtain maximum profit. Human resources are needed who can manage the BUMDes business so that it can run optimally in developing business units that have the potential to be profitable in business and economic development in Bukit Jaya Village. Bukit Jaya village is declining. The allocation of BUMDes funds is allocated to many business fields managed by BUMDes Jaya Makmur such as BRI Link, Rubber Auction, Household Business, Building Materials, and ATK. SWOT analysis is a tool to identify various factors systematically by looking at the relationship between internal factors in the form of strengths and weaknesses against external factors in the form of opportunities and threats so that they can formulate a strategy for the company or organization. The results of the SWOT analysis show that BUMDes Jaya Makmur in Bukit Jaya Village is in quadrant 3 which must use a turn around strategy or change strategy for the development of BUMDes Jaya Makmur in the Context of Alleviating Poverty in C3 Bukit Jaya Village.
